HOW IT WORKS
KERBSIDE AVOIDS THE NEED FOR YOU TO TAKE YOUR OWN ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS, IT ALSO AVOIDS THE NEED FOR YOU TO MEET A SALESMAN AT YOUR HOME.
THE VIDEO BELOW EXPLAINS HOW IT WORKS.
55MM COMPACT DOORS
For doors width measurement up to 2500mm wide, we recommend the 55mm compact door. This door is made from 55mm double skinned interlocking slats and rolls up into a neat 200mm headroom. This system is perfect for obtaining maximum space in the garage. The narrow side channels mean you will not lose any width and in many scenarios will gain some.
Our fitters complete 2 installs per day one am and one pm, so with 2-3 door sites or even more doors there are discounts available. We also extend multi-door offers to neighbours as well. So if you and your neighbour have new doors installed at the same time you are entitled to a multi-door discount. It strictly applies to doors on the same or adjoining properties.

KERBSIDE UNIQUE FITTING SERVICE
With all 55mm compact door systems, we provide the doors slightly oversized in kit format. Once your old door is removed the installer is able to measure your new door millimetre perfectly working from a blank canvass. It also means you have a choice of position up to the time of installation in case you have a final change of heart to the position first ordered. This service for both 55mm compact doors and 77mm Double doors ensures we maintain a first-time installation every time. Included in the fitting service the fitters also take away your old door and rubbish within their price and once finished they provide you with a full demonstration, instructions booklet, payment receipt and warranty certificate
RDC Doors are fitted with a small bottom rubber seal on the last slat of every door. Whilst these will help reduce debris entering under the door, we cannot be held responsible if the door doesn't sit flush against the floor due to an uneven floor surface. If you are looking to prevent water ingress, we recommend you consider an extra seal to be purchased directly from one of the suppliers linked below prior to our arrival. Our fitter will be happy to fit these at a small cost of £20 on the day of your install. To have them installed after installation the call out fee is £65
Floor Seal [Stop ingress of water] - Weather Stop UK
NB: When ordering a floor seal please check you have the correct width size - 2.52m for small 55mm doors and 4.95m for double-sized 77mm doors
If your area is prone to wind challenges, we also recommend the following to help with the reduction of rattling due to high winds.
Brush Strips [Reduce rattling from wind] - Form Seal UK
NB: The brush strips recommended are not designed to fit direct onto an RDC channel. They must be installed onto a UPVC section on the rear of the channel supplied by the fitter. Direct fitment will cause an issue to the running of the door
Cladding may be required if the position of the door is changed from the original position of the old door. This helps to tidy and better the piers of the final appearance. This is usually determined once the installation is completed.
Please Note: Cladding does not form part of the garage door order and if required, is charged at £40 per piece white and £60 per piece colour
