WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
End locks are components fitted at the ends of curtain slats to help maintain their lateral position within the intended roller door assembly.
In practice
Their form and purpose depend on the curtain design. They work alongside the slats and guides, and should not be confused with the key lock used for access or a particular anti-lift arrangement.
Missing or damaged components can affect the way a curtain travels. If a slat appears displaced, or the door begins rubbing or moving unevenly, seek advice rather than trying to push the parts back into place. Replacement components need to be appropriate for the door.
