In practice
A reference is more precise than a broad description such as grey, but matching the code does not make different materials, gloss levels or coatings look identical. Lighting, texture and the size of the surface also affect what you see.
Check the reference and finish offered for the actual door, guides and cover rather than assuming all named colours are standard RAL matches. Website images and screens are useful for narrowing choices; a physical sample is a better way to compare the door with existing materials.
