WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
A key fob is a small handheld transmitter used to send an opening or closing command to a compatible garage door receiver.
In practice
Fobs vary in their radio technology, coding and number of buttons. Appearance or frequency alone does not establish compatibility. Replacement transmitters need to match the receiving equipment and be enrolled using the correct procedure.
Keep transmitters away from children and avoid accidental button presses in a pocket or vehicle. A lost fob may need to be removed from the receiver's memory rather than simply replaced. Follow the product instructions for batteries, pairing and deleting stored transmitters.
