In practice
It does not mean every width, height or combination of features is possible. Each system has manufacturing limits, required clearances and available specifications. Approximate dimensions are useful for an initial enquiry, while the final ordered size must follow the agreed survey and specification.
Check whether a stated measurement refers to the building opening, the full assembly or the usable passage after fitting. Confirm the finish, controls, fitting position and included work alongside the dimensions, so the written order describes the complete door you expect.
